Locate Your Wandering Children Anywhere
As featured in the newest Duracell "Power To Protect" campaign, The
BrickHouse Locator is an innovative product because it is both
preventative and problem-solving. It not only helps you locate your
child, but it also alerts you if your child is wandering too far.
Using Locate Mode, the on-screen directional display and audio
guidance will lead you to your child. The device beeps faster as
you get closer, letting you know when you are near.
Children tend to wander in busy public places, where it can be a
challenge for parents to keep an eye on them. If your children
wander, don't panic, just grab The BrickHouse Child Locator and
find them, fast. Simply attach a small Tag to your children's
shoes, jacket, or backpack, and let the homing device lead you to
their location in seconds. The BrickHouse Child Locator alerts you
the instant your child leaves the safety zone. The portable
tracking device will beep, vibrate, and visually lead you to the
Tag quickly and easily. As an added safety precaution, your child
can press the Panic Button to alert you of an emergency.
BadReviewed by Wang Yuk, 2010-01-26
They forgot to process my order until my email in a month later. Product quality is NOT nice, very cheap plastic like a $2.99 toy. Not easy to use with a lot of fault warning. I bought it from overseas and they say only $40 for delivery but they charged me over $90 and didn't refund, that's OK if they could ship fast but they took over a month to ship :-( Bad, bad, bad!!!
Good idea, but bad qualityReviewed by usa99, 2009-12-07
Personally, I still think the idea of this product is good. I, as a
parent, need a product that can track my toddlers especially when
we are on vacation. Unfortunately, the quality of this product is
really bad.
First, when i received this product, one of the tag was not
working. After a week, a second tag was broken also. So I left with
2 working tags only.
Second, I have 2 kids so I put one tag each. The tracker was
beeping every 1 minute eventough my kids were within the range. I
changed the range from N(ear), to M(edium), to F(ar) but it was
still beeping. It stopped beeping when I use one tag only and
de-activate the other. But hey, I have 2 kids.
To be fair, it was easy for me to track my kid (only one kid) using
this product.
Fortunately, I bought it from Amazon and I can still returned it
after several weeks. Thank you Amazon.
Built like a Brick HouseReviewed by Harris Elleberg, 2009-12-04
I often bring this along when I go out to bars or clubs.
So far it has proven extremely useful for locating brickhouse
babies.

Its worth nothing. Brick house should be money to the customer to
purchase this item. They should call it "lostlater"
you will not find any thing with this device. My advice dont puchase
it even for one cent .
Better Than NothingReviewed by Aubrey Allmond, 2009-10-07
We have a 7 year old autistic boy who has no fear in wandering off. We needed something. We also needed something we could put on him that he can't get off. We bought the locator and the wrist bands. The bands stay on good and must be somewhat comfortable because he never tried to remove it. It hasn't gotten wet so no comment on its ability to repell water. The N, M, F ranges are not clear and I would agree that the N is way to far than you would expect. We used this the first night we got it and it did alarm us when he went to another room. Metal objects such as siding will block the signal and set it off premature but, that's not a bad thing. The alert function is ok and does have vibration. The locate feature we have not had to use really but, I'm not sure how well it will work. This certainly will not be the only thing we rely on but it will help. The tags seem ok but the handheld unit is a bit light. I expected it to be a bit more beefy. Do not drop this thing. I can see it shattering on impact. We needed something for a kid that doesn't understand, care, or want something like this on him. It's better than nothing.
